Climate of Haryana

Haryana is a state which has its maximum area under plains, therefore the climate of Haryana is continental, with extremes of heat in summer. The weather remains hot in summer and markedly cold in winters. The rainfall in the region is low and erratic except in parts of Karnal and Ambala districts.
